Yer actual Macca isn't that big an owner. Not compared to the Investment Trusts, Pension Funds and very foreign sounding names that abound here. From deepest Scotland we have Schellenberg (remember that name ?), Schuster, de Speolbergh, van Lynden, Sorenson, de Lapp, de Klee, but no mention of de People (bad pun).

60% of Argyllshire is in private hands. The large estates are bigger than our smallest county, Clackmannanshire and forestry is driving out indigenous agriculture.
