Possibly the greatest creative challenge the London agency has faced?

Scotland is a hotbed of creative talent. It boasts several major indigenous advertising companies, acknowledged internationally for the strength of their creative work. These companies win business from global corporate clients, often against competition from London-based multinational agencies.

However, the advertising recession has seen many smaller Scottish companies go to the wall.

So, in a move which is a slap in the face to creative Scotland, the Scottish Labour Party has awarded it's advertising business to TBWA, a multinational agency, which has only a token presence in Scotland.

The agency, which handles clients like French Connection and Wonderbra, will provide the creative work for the forthcoming Scottish Parliamentary elections. And the bulk of this work will be done in London.

Ironically, the Labour Party has been saying that "New" Scots must lose their inferiority complex.

This should help enormously.
